We offer a variety of learning opportunities for our adult parishioners. We have bible studies, movie nights, speakers, retreats, and parish missions that are offered at different times throughout the year. We are not a demonition - we are the true church. Our Sacramental system helps us become disciples of jesus Christ, cleanses us of our sins and provides with the Bread of Life, Jesus himself.
Our faith is based on the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ, and our rich Tradition. We have been doing what Jesus asked for well over 2000 years!
You are welcome to explore our rich Tradition and history in a program we call the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults.
You are welcome to join us if you have no faith tradition, raised in a non-christian environment, or baptised in one of the Christian denominations. We will help you gain an understanding of our faith and bring you to a closer encounter with the risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Children of parishioners who are in Pre-K - 6th grade are expected to be enrolled in a faith formation program, either in a Catholic School or parish based faith formation program. When we baptise our children, parents make a committment to raise their children in the ways of the faith. This means that the children need to learn their faith at home and in an approved program (catholic school or faith formation program).
We have two choices from which parents can choose:- Traditional Catechesis - Traditional classroom setting- textbooks, crafts, videos:
Elementary (1st -6th grade) Select EITHER the Sunday or Wednesday classes
Sunday 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM - classes start September 8th
Wednesday 5:30 PM -6:45 PM - classes start September 11th Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program - Class size is limited
Montessori-based, hands on learning about scripture, liturgy, and traditions.
Level 1 (ages 3-6):
Sunday morning 9:00 AM -10:15 AM- classes start September 8th
Wednesday evening 5:30 PM - 6:45 PM - classes start September 11th
Level 2 (1st -3rd grade)
Sunday morning 9:00 AM -10:15 AM - classes start September 8th

Children of parishioners in 7th - 12th grade are expected to continue to raise their children in the faith in which they were baptised. Middle and High School students are provided with engaging small group discussions, worship music, prayer, adoration, fellowship, and engaging activities and games to enliven and deepen their Catholic faith, helping them become disciples of Jesus Christ.

It is the duty and obligation of the Catholic Parish to prepare individuals to receive the Sacraments. Children usually participate in the Sacrament of Penance (also known as Confession or Reconciliation) and the Sacrament of Holy Communion in the Second Grade.
Sacramental Preparation is separate and distinct from their religious education at a Catholic School or faith formation program.
Even if a child is enrolled in a Catholic School they MUST enroll in the Parish Sacramental Preparation program.
At our Parish, sacramental preparation for Penance and Holy Communion are offered on Wednesday evenings.
Children and their parent(s)/guardian(s) attend:
Eight sessions for Penance in the months of September - December and
Eight sessions for Holy Communion in the months of January - March.

Children of parishioners who have reached their fifteenth birthday when they are Confirmed are expected to participate in preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation. There are three Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church - Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. You become fully catholic when you have received all three Sacraments of Initiation. Only fully initiated Catholics are eligible to serve as a Godparent or Confirmation Sponsor. Click here for Diocese of Fort Worth eligibility requirements for a Confirmation Sponsor.
Parents can choose to have their child prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation by attending weekly preparation meetings in either the Fall or Spring semester, understanding that Confirmation will occur at the end of the summer, ususally in August.
